These ‘tags’ have been going around the blogosphere lately, and I’ve been tagged in about 4…that I know of. They’re all different, so I decided to do the 11 things one, and then share some of my favourite bloggers with you at the bottom of the post
So here goes!
11 Random Facts About Me:
1. I love learning new words! Anytime I find or hear a new one, I promptly check the definition and try to use it in a sentence. I even have an app on my phone for learning new words everyday {though the app is glitching & I don’t recommend it}. Yep, I’m a word nerd.
2. Cookie dough is a food group. ‘Nuff said.
3. I have a ‘platoon’ {as Dallas calls it} of teddy bears that hang out on our bedroom floor. I realize I’m almost 25 years old, but these are the teddies I just can’t bear to part with…haha. Notice I have an affinity for pandas?
4. I used to model professionally, and even went to live in Thailand for a few months years ago! {Photo taken January 2008}
I no longer fit the weight requirements to model in Asia, but I do TFs with fave photographers on occasion, just for funzies. {Photo taken March 2011}
5. My birth mark is in between my toes. No, I will not take a picture.
6. I used to see things in terms of black and white, all or nothing, good or bad, something was or it wasn’t. As I’ve matured {and probably partly as a result of schooling}, I see more grey areas now. It’s honestly a good thing!
7. Nothing makes me happier than the gift of food. My mom has been known to gift me boxes of Larabars and jars of almond butter. No joke.
8. I don’t hate Valentine’s Day, and I never have. Even when single. No matter what your relationship status, it’s easy to make a ‘friend date’ and go out for dinner, watch a movie, and share chocolates. And drink wine.
9. My Christmas tree is still up. I told you I’m a procrastinator.
10. I can’t remember the last time I went a day without eating chocolate. It’s literally been years.
11. Brussels sprouts are one of the few vegetables I passionately inhaled as a child, and still do almost daily. Sometimes I cover them in ketchup. This love can’t be tamed <3
