the ooey gooey taste of a Nanaimo bar- for breakfast! Enjoy ;)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp unsweetened coconut
- 1 tsp stevia {or 1 tbsp sugar/maple syrup}
- 1/2 tsp custard powder
- 1/8 tsp sea salt {I use 1/4 tsp- I love salty sweet!}
- 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp {or 5 tbsp} unsweetened almond mylk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce {or 1/2 mashed, ripe banana}
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Preheat toaster oven to 380 degrees.
- In a small bowl, stir together dry ingredients well. Add in the wet and mix well.
- Scoop mixture into ramekin & sprinkle in the chocolate chips. Cover with oven- safe lid {if you have one. Recipe will taste amazing without.}.
- Bake @ 380 degrees for 22 minutes. Remove from toaster oven with oven-safe mitts.
- Serve warm! Enjoy :)
